Painted Gingham Walls

My #1 choice was a no brainer today.  I'm notwithstanding totally inwards dearest amongst the painted gingham walls inwards the pulverisation bath.  In fact, just ane twelvemonth agone I was sweating out finishing that whole project... come across all of the Powder Bath room details too sources here.

This has been ane of my most pop projects, too ane of my favorites every bit well!  Something most those stripes just catches your oculus too makes a statement.  I did this projection 3 years agone too I'm just noticing a few spots that I remove to affect upward on the paint, too hence I call upward that's pretty expert since they've been exterior all this time.

Custom Monogrammed Doormat

When this stencil didn't pan out for my pulverisation lavatory walls similar I had originally intended, I had to detect just about other purpose for it.  It made the cutest personalized doormat!  These are actually fun to brand every bit gifts, too, for a novel neighbor, instructor gift, or you lot could fifty-fifty whip ane out for Mother's Day!

Oak Armoire Makeover

Technically, this isn't a pigment project, but it's inwards the same household unit of measurement too hence I'm calling it unopen enough.  My Dad made this armoire from scratch, too we've had it for over twenty years.  For years inwards 2 old houses it lived inwards our living room too held our tv, but since we've lived inwards this describe of piece of work solid it's been inwards our chamber too is directly used for storage (ever wonder where I proceed all those pillow covers too fabric?). The craftsmanship is perfect too nosotros could never ship to larn rid of the piece, but I was over the orange-y tone.  While I didn't desire to pigment it, I did desire to modify the coloring too gel stain was the perfect remedy.  It was a fairly tardily procedure (not a consummate refinishing job) too I didn't fifty-fifty motility it out of the room to practise the work.  I'm too hence happy amongst the darker note to the wood.
