New Homophobia As Well As Racism On Google Maps
When I offset heard close Slur Tracker, a real-time Google Map of rude Twitter messages, I idea that it sounded similar a lot of fun. Something close the idea of watching a constant stream of insults on a Google Map appeals to my sick sense of sense of humor too beloved of cartography.
Unfortunately the app merely leaves me feeling depressed close the inane stupidity too the homophobic too racist attitudes of many Twitter users. After viewing a succession of lilliputian white boys calling each other fags too thinking it's cool to purpose the N-word I realised I wasn't going stumble upon the wit of somebody similar Dorothy Parker or Oscar Wilde on Slur Tracker.
This is of degree no error of Slur Tracker, which is a nicely realised too designed real-time Twitter map. Instead I blame my ephebiphobia.
