New Hannibal's Journeying On Google Maps
I actually similar the map used inward the Pelagios Project. I decided to play roughly alongside the map today too decided to purpose the map tiles to plot the road of Hannibal's famous journeying to Italy from Carthage.
The Hannibal's Journey map shows the (very rough) road that Hannibal took too some of the major battles that he fought alongside the Roman Empire along the way. I also used the Polyline Symbols component inward the Google Maps API to include an animated arrow that provides a niggling chip of activeness to an otherwise fairly static map.
